Amara has attended Child’s Way since August of 2021. My wife and I welcomed Amara and her two older sisters into our home a month later as our first foster children. After two years, we ended up adopting Amara and her sisters at the end of last year! Throughout all of the uncertainty of foster care, Child’s Way was always a constant for Amara and for our family. We always knew that Amara would be loved, celebrated, and cared for with the utmost quality of care while she was there each day. She absolutely loves school and has grown, developed, and exceeded doctor’s expectations for her by leaps and bounds. She’s always doing something new and we credit that to the teachers, nurses, and therapists that have worked with her since she was an infant. Her therapists have always had open communication with us and given us so many tools and suggestions of a variety of things to do to continue to help Amara learn new skills and build upon her strengths. Child’s Way will always hold a special place in our hearts and we’re so grateful for everyone who has impacted Amara in the best ways.
