Within two days of being at The Children’s Home, Jonathan was a totally different child. The nightmares have stopped for Jonathan and my stress level has gone down ten notches.
Dealing with a circumstance like Jonathan’s, when your child needs multiple surgeries and you can’t go home, your time is spent thinking, “what am I going to do next? We don’t have clothes, we don’t have shampoo!” It meant everything to have a social worker come to me and say, “we can take care of all that for you.”
