Erin

Erin began working at The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center in July of 2019 as a Permanency Social Worker. Erin working with the SWAN program and focuses on providing the Child Specific Recruitment unit of service which is used to help children in foster care find permanent homes.  Erin also provides the Child Preparation unit of service to prepare children for permanency.  Erin has previously worked as a Mental Health Therapist in the Partial Hospital setting, as a Mobile Therapist in the community, and as a Family Resource Specialist in Washington County. Prior to working at The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh, Erin worked as a long-term substitute School Counselor. Erin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania.
