ART from the HeART: Celebrating 125 Years of The Children’s Home, took place on Friday, September 21, 2018. With well over 100 guests in attendance, this event celebrated the 125th anniversary of The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center, beautiful local art and long- time board member, Dr. Barbara Zawadzki and her family.
With the support of BPU Investment Management Inc, ART from the HeART raised critical funds for the three programs of The Children’s Home: Adoption , Child’s Way®, and the Pediatric Specialty Hospital, while also recognizing the lifetime of achievements and work of Dr. Barbara Zawadzki. Guests enjoyed a silent art auction, an award ceremony, facility tours, a live art demonstration by local artist, Tom Panei, drinks and hors d’oeuvres from Herban Touch Juice Lab and Cafe.
