When Angel stepped in to help care for her grandson Kaz’mir, she knew the journey would require learning new medical skills and navigating complex care needs. One of the biggest challenges was understanding how to properly care for him at home and finding the nursing support needed to make that possible.
At The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh, Angel found not only expert medical guidance, but a compassionate team who walked alongside their family every step of the way. Through hands-on training, daily support, and continued guidance even after discharge, the staff helped her gain the confidence and skills she needed to care for Kaz’mir.
