Join The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh on May 17th to celebrate National Foster Care Month.

The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh is excited to announce an upcoming event designed to welcome individuals who are interested in learning about the rewarding experience of becoming foster parents. The event, titled “Ready. Set. Foster Care!” will take place on May 17th, 2025, at the historic Casino Theatre in Vandergrift, PA.

The event will begin with doors opening at 3:15 PM, offering a chance for attendees to meet with representatives, learn about fostering, and ask questions about how they can make a difference in the lives of children in need. Guests will be treated to free snacks and drinks before the screening. The event will feature The Great Gilly Hopkins starting at 4:00 PM and will run until 6:00 PM.

This event is a wonderful opportunity for those who have ever considered becoming a foster parent to learn more in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We encourage anyone interested in helping children in need to attend and take the first step toward making a lifelong impact.
