The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center is encouraging our community to come together during this difficult time through a brand new series of virtual talks with local experts, titled The Silver Lining Series. For our very first FREE online program, we have proudly partnered with the team at EMBRACE Pittsburgh to open an engaging conversation on how you and your family can cope with COVID-19.
First Topic: Mental Health, “Coping with COVID”
Join us on May 27, 2020 at 1:00pm where Jennie Colbert will lead an engaging conversation with tips on Coping with Covid through “MindHacks”, family oriented coping skills based from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), which will help you and your family through this stressful time.
Jennie Colbert, Program Strategist for EMBRACE Pittsburgh, is fulfilled by her community involvement and bringing attention to causes she is passionate about. She is a huge advocate for mental health and wellness and is thrilled to be a part of the innovative and life changing initiative that EMBRACE Pittsburgh has created in the Pittsburgh Area.
EMBRACE Pittsburgh is a powerful movement conceived and driven by Citrone 33. The goal is to champion mental strength throughout the Pittsburgh region. By exercising our minds, we sharpen our focus, manage stress, ready ourselves for change, and strengthen our overall health.
