We are both humbled by your courage to consider us as potential adoptive parents for your baby and we want you to know that we will see this opportunity as a blessing every day. Thank you for taking the time to read a bit about us.
My grandmother used to say it takes an entire village to raise a child and although we have not yet met in person, I do look forward to meeting you and discussing what you see as important in their lives. We will care for and love a child of any race, ethnicity, or background.
What we see for our future family
We would like a small family and have always thought of adoption as a good option for us to start a family. Our home includes a school close enough to walk, woods in the backyard, space for a swing set, and grandparents around the corner.
We both have very close-knit families and they would love to support our family. Cate grew up in a farming town in California and has a large extended family with many step siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and even friends that are now close family. While our upbringings were different, we both envision fostering an honest, open family and at the same time have fun together.
We look forward to exploring the world with the baby and helping them find his or her passion. We will be very active in his or her life coaching teams, helping with homework, and teaching them compassion and forgiveness. In the summer we’ll go to the pool and Kennywood; go sledding and make snow angles in the winter.
We would like to take family trips to the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and other national parks to hike and explore the beauty. We like to camp and hangout around the campfire making dinner and roasting marshmallows.
