The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center proudly announces that it will host its tenth annual signature event, Shake Your Booties on Saturday, March 19, 2011. Thank to the wonderful reception of last year's event, Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse will once again host the occasion. Guest will be treated to Hyde Park's delicious tasting stations, cocktails, and desserts.

In the tradition of ten year anniversaries, our event co-chairs Georgette Pascale, Julie Kline, and Robert Lepre, are giving this year’s special celebration a Diamond Theme, while recognizing our Shake Your Booties honorees from the last ten years:

Attendees can expect an evening of glitz and glamour, from participating in a Diamond Champagne Raffle provided by Henne Jewelers to dancing the night away to live music by The In Transit Band. Guest will also have the opportunity to bid on exciting auction items in our silent auction as well as make a quick stop by The Donation Station, where donations to The Children’s Home will be matched up to the first $10,000 by The Mario Lemieux Foundation.

Our Diamond Sponsor, Trib Total Media will be sponsoring our online auction which is a new feature to this year’s event. Even if you cannot make it to the event, drop by our Online Auction page to view and bid on exciting auction items that will not be available during the live event. The auction opens on Valentine’s Day and closes at noon on March 19, 2011.

Shake Your Booties raises money to support the programs of The Children's Home & Lemieux Family Center: Adoption, Child's Way^® , and the Pediatric Specialty Hospital.
