The Children's Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center was selected by PPG Industries to be a Community Champion. This designation is part of a collaborative effort between PPG and the University of Pittsburgh's athletic department to recognize organizations in the Pittsburgh area which encourage educational excellence and well-being for young people.

PPG Industries graciously gave 20 tickets for the September 10, Pittsburgh Panthers football game against Maine. Families and staff from The Children's Home & Lemieux Family Center enjoyed a great day at Heinz Field as guests of PPG.
