Tara Stief and David Martin, two representatives from The Children's Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center helped to draw the winners at the UPMC Shadyside basket raffle event in honor of Max Accettulla.
The raffle benefited The Children's Home & Lemieux Family Center, as part of the "Your Care. Our Commitment." initiative at UPMC Shadyside's Automated Testing Laboratory. The basket raffle took place in the West Wing Café area of UPMC Shadyside on Monday, July 25, and Tuesday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Max's parents Tony and Beth and Grandmother, Peggy (a UPMC Shadyside employee) also helped draw the lucky winners.
The two day raffle event raised an amazing $1771.00 in donations and was in honor of "Mighty Max" Accettulla, who is undergoing rehabilitation after surgery and will be returning to The Children's Home & Lemieux Family Center's medical day care, Child's Way®, in September. See you soon Max!
