Sarah and Adam

Dear Birthparent,

Thanks for the chance to introduce ourselves. This is surely hard for you. We're grateful you love your unborn child so much that you're considering adoption. We believe we can offer you the peace of mind that your child would be loved, happy, and secure.

The two of us met in a coffee shop in Pittsburgh and have been married for five wonderful years. We've also had challenges, including infertility, which on the bright side have made our relationship even stronger. It's a relationship rooted in love and respect.

Although we previously tried to conceive a child, we're now 100% committed to welcoming a child into our family through adoption.

Sarah was born in Pittsburgh and has two sisters that she is very close to. She works with children and adults as a clinical social worker in the medical field. Sarah plans to take 6 to 12 months off after we adopt. She has the flexibility through her employer of returning to work part or full time after that.

Sarah enjoys volunteer work, yoga, cooking and knitting. She looks forward to knitting a hat and gloves to keep a special baby cozy.

Adam grew up in Portland, Oregon with two brothers. He has a secure career in the field of labor relations. Adam has studied Spanish for the last couple years. He also enjoys reading, movies and helping Sarah with her latest creations in the kitchen.

We live in a five bedroom home in a wonderful, safe neighborhood in the City of Pittsburgh. Our block is filled with young children and the nearest park is less than two blocks away.

On the weekends we enjoy museums, arts festivals, sports, hiking, kayaking and biking. We frequently visit Sarah's parents, who live ten minutes away and look forward to having a new grandchild to love and spoil. We also like to get together with our siblings and their young children.

We love to travel together. Our favorite trips have been to Australia, Norway and South Africa. We look forward to exposing our child to new places and cultures.

We both have master's degrees and value education. We will instill in our child a love of learning, as well as values like honesty and integrity. We're financially secure and plan to provide every opportunity so that our child can attend college and choose a rewarding and fulfilling career.

If you choose us to be the adoptive parents of your child, the child will always know of your love. We'll work with you to achieve a level of openness in the adoption that we are all comfortable with.

We would welcome a child of any race or ethnicity into our home. We'll always honor our child's background and heritage.
