Mike and Michele

Dear Birth Mother,

Our names are Mike and Michele and we would love to adopt your baby.

We wanted to write to you and tell you about our story. Four years ago we adopted a little boy and it is the best thing that could have ever happened for us. We have been married for sixteen years and for a number of years tried to have a baby on our own. Even though Michele went through several medical procedures, including fertility testing and in vitro fertilization, we still were unable to have a baby.

After a lot of thought and prayer, we decided to try to adopt a baby. We went through the process and preparation and waited for about two years before we got a call and got our beautiful baby. It was only because of another brave woman that we are now parents. We know that it isn't an easy decision, but if it helps, we can tell you how much it means to an adoptive family. We are sure you know yourself that an adopted child can truly complete a family. Every day that we spend with our son is precious and we thank God and the brave individual who allowed him to come to us. We know that it has to be difficult to imagine letting go, but you can be assured that when you do, there will be someone there to hold on tight and give what you might not yet be ready to give. We can tell you that we love our boy completely and as if we gave birth to him just as any parents love their children. He has been accepted by our friends, family and neighbors without question.

Our nieces and nephews love their cousin and even though he is the tenth grandchild, he is spoiled like he is the first! You see, you can give a gift not only to a couple, but to an entire family. We hope you find the family that feels right to you to raise your child. You can rest assured that once you find the family that feels right to you, you will know it and soon your baby will know it too.

As for us, Mike has worked for the same company for 20+ years that has provided a secure career with great benefits, including a flexible schedule that allows him to teach one night class a semester at a local school. Michele is a Doctor who owns her own business, as well as provides services to local nursing homes. Together we have built a financially secure foundation that will serve us well for the future. As a family, we love sports and travelling, including trips to Pittsburgh Pirates & Penguins games, vacations to the beach and amusement parks, as well as, weekend trips to visit family or experience new places. Our evening hours are filled with our son's T-Ball games, swim class, soccer practice and playtime with his friends. We are also animal lovers - included as part of the family are 2 dogs, 2 cats and a couple of fish.

The love given to our son will be equally given to your baby and you will always know that you made the right decision.
